I’ve 6 starred Conrad. I use him as my lead in gb10, arena, HOH, and some TOA floors. He’s runed despair blade hp CD att. I highly suggest him for HOH as his trade usually kills atleast 1 monster for me every floor increasing the efficiency of my B2 runs significantly. With despair he does great cc as well. If your other choice is baretta for a speed lead for anything other than TOA, conrad is better.

I have configured him as following:
2: Energy ATK%
4: Energy crit. damage%
6: Fatal: ATK%
1, 3, 5: Fatal
All 5*+ runes but not all at lv. 15. Current stats:
HP: 16k+
ATK: 2k+
crit damage: 139%
Now I am curious, how he is going to turn out.

1. bigger hp would
mean far less dmg for his 1 and 3rd skill, bigger on his 2nd skill which does not have that big of multiplier
2. make sense in what way? he is an atk monster not a hp or def monster, more like a waste of his true potential
3. tried him and the best combo so far is rage blade (spd/c.dmg%/atk%) just bcoz i dont have chloe, this way, he does decent dmg, crit quite often, and can move 1st most of the time to dish out “trade” and give allies shield. however, if one have chloe then you dont have to worry bout his speed and go for atk% on his slot 2, he goes well with briand or fedora, does ok with arnold (2 nukes) and so-so with dias.
4. galleon is his best friend , water horus also great, fire hellhound also good, shannon are ok. if you have low crit rate, use fire hound or water horus. if you have decent crit rate, use galleon. finally, shannon if you dont have good buffer, its just not maximum with shannon unless you have def breaking monster.

I will test him for a while, maybe it´s a monster that needs more strategy than normal. The shield can be very useful sometimes. I may enjoy him for a “light team”. Since I already habe Bella, Groggo, Marble and Ahman, an attacker can be great!
Btw: I usually like the monsters I get, try to find some good strategies (like some places in ToA where I play with a CC team without healer), he may be very useful. I don´t think it shall be a good idea to make a soup of him and feed the other DK´s now, better try for a while ^^

I think that there are certain monsters that you have to really have an open mind about how to rune and what type of team that they can really make the fireworks happen. I am glad to see this mon compared not only to his brothers but also others that have similar skills. But I think that the true potential and power of this mon was over looked. To score so high yet be considered food, makes me think that he has something that the only way to understand and use is to really get to know him. I am very thankful for the review but it seems like the actual reviewer has an idea of something but not enough time to really comb through and find it, before they had to put the review up. And remember that this is one person’s opinion. Not your neighbor next door, a good friend or anything of that nature. Which also means that no one else knows how they make teams that works for them. As look at how many people who will put a mon down saying that it’s food, yet if you look at the stats it’s one of the top 10 most used mons. What works for some and especially if they are loud that is all you hear. But that doesn’t mean that it will work for you the same way. As this game is about strategies, how to make the mon work for you and what team to build to be able to reach and kill the enemy bosses. So the real question is did the review end up going in the wrong direction because this mon isn’t one that works with the team’s and ideas that the brothers of this mon had set into play, and the mon was truly misunderstood because of certain expectations?
