If this is your face upon seeing this post, because there’s still another part of your long and horrible quest on fusing Veromos, don’t worry! Wipe that sadness off of your face, because you did it! Your main quest is complete, and now I’m just helping you out with the last little part!
You got Kumae, Mikene, Argen, Akia and you finally fused the dark Ifrit Veromos. Great job! You’ve just completed half of what people call the “tutorial” of the game. The second half is creating a stable GB10 team. This is going to be one of your biggest achievements in the game, and it’s surprisingly easy if you know what you’re doing.
First off, though, we’re going to start with how to rune your new cleanser, Continuous Damager, and AoE (multihit, or in Veromos’ case, everyone) stunner all bundled into one monster. In this section, I’ll be talking about early game rune builds, mid-game and end game.

Building Your Veromos’ Runes

Of course, you’re going to want to rune up, awaken and max out this bad boy before you do anything big. I’ll be starting with the rune builds.
Early-Game. This is the part of the game you’re in. You usually don’t hit mid-game until around the time you can safely farm DB10 and have sped up your GB10 team quite a bit. The go-to early game build for Veromos is Swift and Energy/Focus. The main stats on slots 2, 4, and 6 should be, in order, Speed, HP% and HP%. You want Veromos to have as much HP and to be as fast as possible, as his first skill’s damage scales off of his speed and his second skill his HP.
In order to get the best rune sets possible at your stage, I’d highly recommend only putting runes that are four stars and above on him. Over time, you’ll be improving his runes (along with the runes of all your other monsters) so don’t worry about it being too perfect.
Some rules of thumb for starting out and in general, though, are:

That the main stats on slots 2, 4, and 6 shouldn’t be flat, with the exception of speed, because you can’t get SPD%. Don’t worry about slots 1, 3, and 5’s main stats, as they’re fixed (e.g. Slot 1 will always be flat ATK, slot 5 flat HP, and slot 3 flat DEF.).

The substats on your other runes should have some HP%, SPD and possibly Accuracy, if you can get your hands on it.

The maximum needed accuracy for GB10 in order to land the most amount of Continuous Damage on the boss and stuns on the waves before the boss is 45%.

Don’t try looking for any HP% runes that have HP% substats, or SPD runes with SPD substats, as that will not happen.

Veromos is actually pretty squishy, having less base HP than Verdehile, and his second skill scales off of his max HP, so ehe more HP you can get on this guy, the better.

Mid-Game. As I write this, I’m around this point. I haven’t sped up my GB10 team yet, I’ve got a mostly safe DB10 Tower Team (Verdehile(L), Veromos, Eladriel, Chloe and Belladeon) and am working to turn it into a face team by fusing Sigmarus.
Around this time, you’ll be switching your Veromos from Swift to Violent. Do keep the Energy or the Focus runes on him, though, as he’ll still need it. As of right now, my rune build for my own Veromos is Violent and Focus, with SPD/HP% and DEF% because finding the elusive slot-6 Focus rune with HP% on it is apparently too difficult.
I don’t know everything there is to know with what rune substats are going to merge/clash with the monster you’re putting them on, so forgive me if my advice on runes here start to get a little flaky.
End-Game. I have personally not yet experienced this part of the game yet, as it’s mostly about getting your Homunculus, making speed teams for GB10, DB10 and NB10 and multiplayer content. I am told, however, that Focus and Energy start to become less useful on your Veromos at this point along with, unfortunately, Veromos himself. However, some people still use him at this point in the game, and they’re making their Veromos’ rune builds have Violent and Nemesis runes, with, of course, SPD/HP%/HP%.
That’s enough with the confusing jabbering about rune builds and whatnot, because up next is grinding to awaken and max out Veromos.

Leveling Up, Awakening and Maxing Out

Awakening Veromos will be the most tedious awakening that you’ll be doing so far in the game. He’s a natural five-star, and will take the most essences to awaken, but you better get used to it, because soon enough you’ll be doing this with almost every natural five star that you get.
His awakening essences are:
20 High Dark Essences
10 MID Dark Essences
15 High Magic Essences
5 MID Magic Essences
I imagine that this will take you at least a month (As it took me about a week, due to me being a lot farther in the game than I should have been when I finally fused this guy) to awaken him. Trust me, though, it is totally worth it. His awakening bonus will increase his accuracy by 25%, and as I’ve mentioned, you need accuracy; 45% for GB10, and 55% for DB10. For now, though, just stick with the 45% accuracy.
Leveling him will also be really tedious, so I highly recommend using EXP Boosters and friends’ reps in Faimon Hell 1. When you’ve gotten him to his max level, you can continue on to your GB10 team, or, you can six-star him. I’m about to say something that might be considered controversial, but please bare with me for a moment and hear me out.
Veromos and Belladeon should be your first two six-stars, Veromos being the first monster that you should completely skill up with weekly Devilmon from the Arena Glory Shop. Do not six-star your farmer first, like everyone else says. Lapis, when on the Vampire and Revenge runes you get from Reina, can easily farm Faimon Hell 1 at only five-stars, not to mention its far better to use strong friend reps.
When you take a maxed out monster and a not-maxed out monster with you to a scenario, despite the maxed out monster already being unable to receive any more EXP, will still take half of the EXP that you get. Friend reps, on the other hand, do not take any EXP, so the not-maxed out monster will get all of the EXP, like they did that round of the scenario themselves.
(Controversial opinion over; please proceed!)
Levels 30-40 are going to feel like it’s near impossible to complete. By this point, Veromos has gotten to the point where 7800 something EXP won’t even put a dent in his EXP bar. This is why I recommend using an EXP booster. Even then, it’ll take a while. My latest six-star, Verdehile, was six-starred on July the 3rd and was just maxed out today (July the 22nd as I write this) but then again, I stopped working on leveling him up at around 38. He is safe to use in GB10 at around level 30 and six-starred, though, but I’d still highly recommend keep on trying to max him out in between all the GB10 runs you’ll be doing. Speaking of that…

GB10 and You

You’ve finished awakening Veromos, he’s six-stars, hopefully at around level 25 or something, and has had a few Devilmons + some good runes invested into him, but now you’re asking: Where do I use him? Good question, I respond with!
Veromos is really helpful in nearly every PvE place you think of, but we’ll be focusing on GB10. I’m currently using part of the safe GB10 team, which is Veromos, Belladeon, Shannon, Bernard and + 1. I’m assuming you’ve at least manual cleared GB10 at least once. But I haven’t! You tell me, to which I rub my hands and respond with: “ALRIGHT! I can see, that I will have to teach you how to do: GIANTS!” /meme
My team’s Veromos, Belladeon, Eladriel, Charlotte and Frigate, but you’re probably not going to be able to get any of my monsters early-on unless you’re really lucky. That’s enough about me; here are the stats + runes that your monsters should have. I’ll also be going into why each part of the team is important and what their role in your team will be.

Veromos – Ahh, the guy you’ve been working so hard at fusing for the past month or so now. Better get used to it, because you’ll be doing it five times soon enough (Baretta, the upcoming light fusion, Sigmarus, Katarina and Xiong Fei). This guy should be the leader of your team – his leader skill grants an additional 33% increase in everyone’s HP.
Veromos should be the fastest monster on your team, six-starred, and at least level 30. It would also be optimal for him to have at least 15,000 HP in total (base stats + runes) and have a few Devilmons invested into him. Most people say that Bernard should be the fastest monster on your team, but in your case, when you’re just starting out, it’s okay for him to go second or third. Being the fastest thing alive only truly matters during late-game, when you’re concentrating on arena stuff.
His role in your team will be almost everything useful. He’ll be cleansing debuffs off of your team, which is important at the boss because he has a crystal that breaks everyone’s defense, hence why he should be fast. Veromos will also be your main attacker, applying Continuous Damage to the boss, which will be where most of the damage will be applied on the boss. The stuns on his second skill will be for the waves before the boss, as the giant is immune to stuns, sleep and freeze effects.
Optimal runes will be, as we’ve discussed, Swift and Energy/Focus with SPD, HP% and HP% and some accuracy substats while you’re at it.

Belladeon – One of, if not the best monsters that you need to get ASAP. Bealldeon is the light Inugami, and has nearly everything that you need. She has two-turn defense break on one enemy, can seize all beneficial effects off of an enemy, and can heal your entire team by 30% (If she isn’t fed any skill ups) and that same skill will increase the party’s attack bar by 30%.
Her role will be to go either second or third after Veromos gets his turn. She’ll also be breaking defenses, stealing buffs from enemies and healing. Rune her, like Veromos, with Swift and Energy/Focus, with all HP%, or some SPD in slot 2. Mine has Swift and Energy, making her a tank, and, unfortunately, lacking accuracy for consistent defense breaks and buff-steals. Considering switching her to Focus and getting her better runes.
It’s generally considered that having over 20,000 in total (base HP + rune HP stats) is optimal for monsters that aren’t of the wind attribute in GB10.

Shannon – I mentioned in Part 3 that most of you have probably fed Kacey to her wind sister, Shannon. If you haven’t got a Shannon, then go get one and awaken her; heck, you literally get a Shannon for free from Reina’s Missions and are told to use her in GB10.
Shannon is considered the slightly worse version but more easily obtainable version of Megan, the water Mystic Witch. However, we won’t be talking about her, but instead Shannon. When you first get her (unawakened), you’re going to look at her and sneer: “Why is this two-star monster essential to GB10?” After all, she’s squishy, has only two skills, and not to mention she’s only two stars. However, the real fun begins when she’s awakened.
She’ll gain a new skill, called Pep Talk. With it, all members of her team will have their attack power and defense increased for three turns, which, as you will learn, will be essential if you want to survive the Giant’s counterattacks. Her second skill, Decelerate, will also be needed during the final stage of GB10, as the Giant is slow, and slowing him down even further might just give you an extra opportunity to heal or cleanse. Skilling her up is incredibly easy, too, so you’ll have her fully skilled up in no time.
Early-game Shannon should be fast and tanky – runed with Swift and Energy, SPD/HP%/HP%. You want a lot of HP on her for her to survive the Giant’s attacks; at least 15,000 in total, along with a lot of defense.
I don’t know about mid-game or end-game runes, but I’m told that Despair and Nemesis is a viable option for Trial of Ascension during late-game.
P.S. Did you know my mom’s named Shannon?
P.P.S If you’re reading this, hi, Mom!

Bernard – Gotta go fast! Bernard is the wind Griffon and is very useful as an attack bar booster – or as I call it, a speedy-speedier – during all parts of the game.
His third skill will be speeding up allies (though you don’t need to have your Bernard be super fast if you’re just doing GB10), second skill defense and attack breaking. He should be runed with Swift/Focus, with SPD/HP%/HP%. He also needs 45% accuracy for his debuffs to land on the Giant; as that’s the accuracy keep at Giant’s Keep. The Dragon’s Lair is 55%, but you won’t be using him there. Speed recommendation is around 150 in total, his base speed being 111. Of course, his maximum HP should be around 15,000.
P.S. Did you know I actually have a family friend named Bernard in real life?
P.P.S. If you’re reading this, hi, Bernard!
+ 1 – As mentioned before, your +1 can be anything, though many people suggest Darion or Dias, as they can cut the damage your team takes. Because the possibilities are endless (For example, I’d suggest Grego to my friend, because she got that early on, while another friend’s +1 would be Artamiel, etc.), I’m not going into how to rune your +1; that’s for you to figure out.
This concludes the end of my guide to fusing Veromos. I hope you’ve enjoyed it, as I certainly have been enjoying writing it. Enjoy your new Veromos and GB10 team, because I’m Sara Ann, and I’ll be seeing you in the next article!]]>

“What are they all waiting for?” You may ask yourself. They’re a friend group, waiting for the last friend to be fused and to join them, where they’ll become one with each forever; their bonds inseparable.
Enough with the dramatic beginnings – all you need now is Akia, the fire Succubus! I apologize if this article sounds like it was written in a rush; I just got a huge surge of inspiration for my book and now that I’ve written, like, two chapters’ worth, I wanted to finish this series. Today, we’ll be starting with…

Nangrim (Fire Beast Hunter)

[caption id="attachment_1850" align="alignleft" width="100"] Awakened Icon[/caption]
For the longest time, it was impossible to get this guy, except for in Fire Scrolls, Mystical Scrolls, Crystal Summons, rarely from Unknown Scrolls and rarely from Social Summons. Nangrim, the fire Beast Hunter, didn’t always have a secret dungeon, so the only way to get him was from summoning. Thankfully, as of late (as I don’t know when he got a Secret Dungeon) there’s a much easier way to acquire him, and that is, of course, his Secret Dungeon.
Farm 40 pieces of his secret dungeon when it’s Tuesday, otherwise known as fire day. While you’re at it, you can also get his awakening essences, but save it for when you’re about to fuse Akia:
15 MID Fire Essences
10 Low Fire Essences
10 MID Magic Essences
5 Low Magic Essences
The best place to get MID Essences of any kind is B6 of the Elemental/Magic Halls. I’m pointing this out real quick because people have been complaining about how impossible it is to get MID Essences. If you don’t believe me, SWarFarm has my back; proving that B6 has the highest drop rate of MID Essences. Of course, High and Low Essences are a different topic, but MIDs are the ones that people complain about the most.
To max him out, you’ll be doing plenty of runs at Faimon Volcano. Four-star him, max him out again, and put him in storage. Speaking of Faimon Volcano…

Krakdon (Fire Salamander)

[caption id="attachment_12885" align="alignleft" width="100"] Awakened Icon[/caption]
Oh dear; it’s time to acquire Krakdon, the fire Salamander who can only be found in Mystical Scrolls, Fire Scrolls, (rarely) Unknown Scrolls and Social Summons, and scenarios; more specifically, Faimon Volcano. Let me tell you; after I spent over a month in Kabir Ruins trying to find a Prilea for my Sigmarus fusion, I can no longer say it’s easy to find three-star monsters from scenarios.
Expect to take about two weeks or more to find Krakdon from Faimon Volcano (which you can do while grinding up your other material needed to fuse Veromos, as Faimon is considered the number one place to farm for experience) When you do find him, though, you should give him these essences to be awakened when you’re ready to fuse Akia:
20 Low Fire Essences
2 MID Magic Essences
10 Low Magic Essences
To level him up, take him and a strong rep to Faimon Volcano (Hell, preferably) and then let the rep clear the stage. He’ll get 7800 EXP if not on an EXP booster. Repeat this with other friend reps until your Krakdon is maxed out. Four star him, max him out again, and then put him storage, where we’ll have to wait until water day if we want to get the next piece of Akia.

Ramira (Water Harpy)

[caption id="attachment_11589" align="alignleft" width="100"] Awakened Icon[/caption]

For a second, I almost typed Prilea instead of Ramira; as I’ve been fusing Sigmarus, and Prilea is an essential part of fusing the frozen box of chicken nuggets. This isn’t about her, though, but instead her sister, Ramira; the water Harpy.

You can get her from Unknown Scrolls, Social Summons, Mystical Scrolls, Water Scrolls, and her Secret Dungeon. We’ll be focusing on her secret dungeon for this article. You’ll need to farm 40 pieces, as she’s a three-star monster. When you clear Stage 10, you’re automatically be rewarded with 4 pieces, so if you can clear up to Stage 10, well then go and do that, as you’ll only need to clear it ten times if that’s the case.
Awakening her, which should be saved until you’re ready to fuse Akia, will take these essences (which you can easily get, because it’s water day, I’m hoping):
15 MID Water Essences
10 Low Water Essences
10 MID Magic Essences
5 Low Magic Essences
Put her aside when she’s four-starred and maxed out, because you can now finally focus on the last piece of the Akia puzzle…

Seal (Wind Harpu)

[caption id="attachment_11454" align="alignleft" width="100"] Awakened Icon (Note: Outdated)[/caption]
Seal, the wind Harpu, might be the easiest monster to acquire when fusing Akia. Due to being a two-star monster, she can be found in Unknown Scrolls, Social Summons, the Magic Shop, and also from Secret Dungeons.
Like literally every other two-star I’ve mentioned in this series, it’ll be incredibly easy to get her. If you do decide to find her secret dungeon, you’ll only need 20 pieces, instead of the three-stars, who need four pieces, and so on and so forth. These essences are needed in her awakening:
5 MID Wind Essences
15 Low Wind Essences
5 MID Magic Essences
10 Low Magic Essences
Four-starring and maxing her out should be easy by now; you’ve been doing it quite a bit on your quest for Veromos. If you don’t remember, go to Faimon Volcano (Hell) and take a strong friend’s rep to clear the stage. Seal, without any EXP booster, will gain 7800 EXP. You can take out the other three monsters you’ve been getting in this part, because now it’s time!

Akia (Fire Succubus)

[caption id="attachment_13897" align="alignleft" width="100"] Awakened Icon[/caption]
Your progress to Veromos is almost complete! All you have to do now is fuse Akia, take Kumae, Mikene and Argen out of storage and then you can start the grind for evolving them all to five stars and then getting them to max level before getting all the mana needed to fuse Veromos, and then and only then you can awaken them before you fuse Veromos, isn’t that fantastic?
Used in fusion for both Veromos and Xiong Fei (but don’t worry about the latter until you’re a lot later in the game), Akia is the fire Succubus, and is most commonly used as fusion material and skillups for her apparently far superior sisters, Aria and Izaria.
As of her buff, she’s actually become fairly useful, as she can attack all enemies that are under sleep without waking them up. Paired with Sonnet/Hathor/Tetra/HER FIRST SKILL, she’s actually okay. However, I’m not going to dwell on that, unlike the last two fusions that we’ve talked about, because I have no insight on this topic for once.
Fuse Akia after you gather up all your material and then awaken said material. Awakening her will take these essences (which needs to be saved until you’re finally ready to fuse Veromos):
10 High Fire Essences
20 MID Fire Essences
5 High Magic Essences
15 MID Magic Essences
These are all the essences you’d need to awaken all of your Akia fusion, including Akia herself:
10 High Fire Essences
35 MID Fire Essences
5 MID Wind Essences
15 Low Wind Essences
15 MID Water Essences
10 Low Water Essences
5 High Magic Essences
47 MID Magic Essences
30 Low Magic Essences
Now that you’ve got that out of the way, the two-week-or-longer grind to max out your monsters shall begin! Take out Kumae, Argen and Mikene out of storage, because now it’s time to five-star them! Max them all out one-by-one, and then, when they’re all five-starred and maxed out, you need to make sure that you have 500,000 mana. Acquire that, awaken them, and then fuse Veromos!
You did it! Pat yourself on the back, because you deserve it, but you’re not done just yet! Tune in for the final part to figure out how to rune your new dark Ifrit!]]>

You’ve gotten Kumae, you’ve fused Mikene, and now it’s time to fuse Argen; the wind Vampire whose fire brother is way better than him!
We’re about halfway there to getting to the good demon wrapped in darkness that is Veromos, so hold onto your hats, ladies and gentlemen. Prepare your friend list, get those crystals ready for energy refills, and please make sure to keep your hands and legs in the seat at all times.
This fusion will be significantly harder, as only two out of the four monsters needed to fuse Argen can be acquired from a secret dungeon. Thankfully, all four are farmable in the end. When you start fusing the other three (again, soon to be four) natural five-star fusion monsters, though, that’s not going to be the case, so you better get ready ahead of time.

Iron (Fire Living Armor)

Today, we’ll begin with Iron, the fire Living Armor, the monster species who, in my headcanons, are the distant relatives of the Occult Girls’ Toy Knights. His wind and dark brothers are, like, really really good, but we’re not talking about Zinc and Copper.
He is a three star monster that can be found in the Temple of Wishes, Social Summons, Unknown Scrolls, Mystical Scrolls, Crystal Summons, Fire Scrolls and is also randomly dropped in a certain scenario. Because most people don’t want to rely on RNG to give them these chunks of metal from scrolls, we’ll be focusing on the scenario when it comes to acquiring Iron.
The only scenario that he can be acquired from is Ferun Castle, right in between Aiden Forest and Mt. Runar. I recommend that you farm the first stage of the highest difficulty that you can auto without needing to revive (e.g. Farm Hell 1 if you have a 100% auto success rate) Just remember that Hard has a higher drop rate than Normal, and Hell a higher drop rate than Hard.
It will most likely take you quite a few days to get Iron, but in the meantime, I’ll show you what essences you need to awaken him. Note: as of this writing, I got some advice that says that you should wait until you’re about to fuse, because you might pull the awakened version a monster from scrolls:
15 MID Fire Essences
10 Low Fire Essences
15 MID Magic Essences
5 Low Magic Essences
When Iron finally drops from Ferun Castle, awaken him and max him out. The most effective way to do so is through Faimon Volcano, using friends’ reps. You can use Angelmons, but I strongly recommend you wait until you four-star him before you use up any Angelmons on him. Iron will be able to temporarily meet Mikene and Kumae in storage, because up next is…

Kacey (Water Pixie)

Kacey, the water Pixie, has most likely been used as skillup material for her wind sister, Shannon, who is also an essential part of a beginner’s GB10 team, but we’ll touch on that subject in Part 5. For now, though, we’ll work on acquiring Kacey.
She’s a two star monster that can be acquired from the Temple of Wishes, Unknown Scrolls, Social Summons, the Magic Shop and Secret Dungeons. Although she’s fairly common, if you seem to be low on luck I recommend that you try and find her secret dungeon. (Believe me; once I accidentally fed away my Kacey and it literally took me a week to get her from the shop. I kid you not.)
Maxing her out at first will be easy; due to being a two-star monster, all you need are a few Faimon runs and some silver-star fodder, and just like maxing her out, evolving her will also be easy. As I’m writing this, the latest updates were the support Homunculi, which also increased the drop rates of three star Rainbowmon, and Season 2 of the Real Time Arena. You can use some of the Rainbowmon you got from the dungeons while farming for essences to evolve her after that.
Speaking of awakening, the essences needed to awaken her will be:
20 Low Water Essences
15 Low Magic Essences
Don’t awaken her just yet, because, as I’ve said, I’ve received advice that says you should wait until you’re about to fuse the monster, in case you get the awakened version from scrolls. For now, though, don’t use up those essences. Put her in storage, with Iron, Mikene and Kumae, because up next is…

Velfinodon (Wind Lizardman)

Velfinodon, the wind Lizardman, is a three-star monster, and can be found in Wind Scrolls, Unknown Scrolls, Mystical Scrolls, Social Summons, and Secret Dungeons. He’s pretty much the only semi-useful member of his family, and even then he’s only useful to fuse Veromos with.
Of course, we will be getting him through his Secret Dungeon. As a three-star monster, you’ll need 40 pieces in order to summon him. Like Hemos (who we talked about in Part 2), he’s actually kind of dangerous in large groups.
Both his first and his second skill inflict Continuous Damage, which we all know is scary when one of your monsters has a lot of these effects on them. If that’s not enough, he also has a defense break on his first skill, along with a passive that reflects 10% of the damage back on the monster that attacked him.
Cleansers like Konamiya will get rid of the defense break and the Continuous Damage, but I don’t have any tips for his passive skill. The only two monsters with Oblivion (a debuff that prevents passive skills from being used) is Tesarion the fire Ifrit, who can only be acquired late-game, and Isis the light Desert Queen, who is a light natural five-star so you can’t have her unless you got extremely lucky early game and summoned her, in which case feel free to use her against the Velfinodon Secret Dungeon.
Four-star and max him out, but do not awaken him yet. I highly recommend that you collect the essences he needs ahead of time, though. Here’s what he needs to be awakened:
15 Wind MID Essences
10 Wind Low Essences
10 Magic MID Essences
5 Magic Low Essences
You’re almost done fusing Argen, now! Put Velfinodon in storage without awakening him just yet. The last monster you need before fusing Argen is…

Eintau (Wind Minotauros)

The final piece in one of the main puzzle pieces, Eintau is the wind Minotauros. Finding this monster will be significantly harder, as, like Iron, he can only be acquired from scenarios. From what I’ve gathered, the only scenario that he’s available in is Chiruka Remains.
Despite that, though, you can also find him in Unknown Scrolls, Social Summons, Wind Scrolls, Temple of Wishes, Crystal Summons and Mystical Scrolls. I still recommend that you try and go looking for him in Chiruka Remains. Some of you may not have unlocked that scenario and/or can clear it by themselves, in which case I strongly advise you take a strong friend’s rep. Some good choices include Chow, Laika, and Theomars, who are, respectively, the water and fire Dragon Knights and the water Ifrit.
Awakening him, which you should save until you’re ready to fuse Argen, will take these materials:
15 MID Wind Essences
10 Low Wind Essences
10 MID Magic Essences
5 Low Magic Essences
Keep him four-starred and maxed out, because now you’re finally ready to fuse the pretty vampire boy, Argen!

Argen (Wind Vampire)

It’s finally time to fuse Argen. After him, all you’ll need is Akia before it’s time for the long, tedious grind that is five-starring and then maxing everyone out when it comes time to fuse Veromos. By this time, you should have collected all of your awakening essences. You can take them all out of storage once they’re four-starred and maxed out (Level 30, if you’ve forgotten) You can now also awaken all of them, because now it’s time to fuse!
Once you have Argen, you’ll be needing these essences to awaken him (Again, don’t awaken until you’re about to fuse Veromos!):
12 High Wind Essences
15 MID Wind Essences
10 High Magic Essences
15 MID Magic Essences
Overall, these are all the essences you’ll need to awaken everyone needed, including Argen himself:
12 High Wind Essences
45 MID Wind Essences
10 High Magic Essences
50 MID Magic Essences
20 Low Water Essences
30 Low Magic Essences
15 MID Fire Essences
10 Low Fire Essences
While Argen isn’t nearly as good as his fire brother – who I’m lucky to have, as Verdehile is a very important part of my DB10 team – he’s not so bad he’s unusable. The damage on his third skill, Death Blow, increases by 25% for every harmful effect that’s on the enemy. If you have a Continuous Damage Dealer and they inflict two Continuous Damage on an enemy, when Argen uses Death Blow, the damage he does is over 50% more than if there was no harmful effect.
If you also put Brand and Defense Break on an enemy, both debuffs increasing how much damage an enemy takes; not only will the damage increase because of those two debuffs, but Argen’s Death Blow will also have 100% more damage. I don’t have an Argen, other than the one I fused for Veromos and the dupe that showed up in a Mystical Scroll when I was LOOKING FOR CHIWU; but if you don’t have any other attackers, you could use this guy.
Please note: If you do have Verdehile (Fire Vampire), do not go through the effort to skill him up or fuse a bunch of Argens for skillups. Verdehile is actually at his best without skillups, because if you decrease the cooltime of his second skill, Noble Agreement, he’ll tend to use it more, so instead of a 40% attack bar increase, you’ll only get 20%.
I’m not going in-depth about him, because this is an article about fusing Veromos, so keep Argen four-starred, maxed out, but not awakened, and he’ll be joining Kumae and Mikene in storage. Up next will be Akia, and then Veromos himself!]]>
