I’d like to explain why Kro is way better than this review gives credit for.
Kro has basically identical 1st and 3rd skill to Tesarion-(Fire Ifrit). The only noticeable difference is Kro has less hp, is slightly faster, and you can skill up Kro much faster than any Ifrit.
Kro’s 1st skill is amazing, it’s not only the same as Tes’ 1st skill but also Tes’ 2nd skill. (50% chance to break defense and/or inflict continuous damage? Not much to say here other than THANK YOU!)
Kro’s 2nd skill isn’t the triple attack/defense break that Tesarion has, true, but instead is a team up skill. If you team up with a monster that has a primary skill that can inflict a debuff, you can inflict Dots or def break AND your other monster can whack the crap out of your target. (In other words, you’re adding to the possiblend 50% extra damage that kro’s 3rd skill is going to do. But you’re also already dealing at least an extra 50% damage on this turn)
Kro’s 3rd skill is almost better than Tesarion’s 3rd skill. Tesarion deals 20% extra damage if the target is under a negative effect and silencing their passive (if they have one), while Kro deals 50% extra damage. 50%! You’ve broken their defense and whittled away their health with continuous damage, now finish ’em off with a possibly unnecessary, yet satisfying, overkill.
Want to go even further? Use Giana-(Dark Oracle) as your leader. Ally Monster attack is increased by 33%. She pairs perfectly with Kro on teamup (She hits 3 times and recovers her attack bar by 15% for each critical hit. She can inflict dots, a bomb, and gain an immediate turn after her 2nd skill, and lastly can prime every monster for Kro if they happen to have a buff removed by her)
Kro is very underrated and in my opinion is one of the best heavy hitters in the game.

His 3rd skill deals approx 2737% of the attack stat with 10 debuffs and 100% CD {Damage = Atk x Multiplier (which is 375% for this skill) x [100% + Crit dmg (100% let’s say) + 30% (max skill up) + 500% (additional damage because of 10 debuffs)] = Atk x 2737%}. But his attack stat is too low to make optimal usage of this. Plus needs optimal set-up with 10 debuffs on the boss. Impractical usage.

He is a beast in dungeons, mine is with vio revenge spd hp hp with tons os acc and spd subs and he is easily the best 3*dotter with some utility and reasonable stats.

Pecca got it right…most of you are understating kro. I got him 6 starred him and he became a staple on my AO TOA giants teams. His skill description is incorrect stated. He does 50% more dmg per debuffs. He needs hp a little atk criR and criD are his stats.. I’ve one shorted Arnold’s veromoes you name it. In AOWith just a def break he will hit for upwards of 13k add in a stun or a dot and ur talking easily 28k+ which is doable if you can run a despair. Mon with some other debuffs baretta is a good choice to pair with him and so is bella…just need a atk buffer or speed buffer if you choose.
Last thing..his skill description reads wrong…it is 50% per debuff. I’d try to ensure he has over 19k hp and at least 80% criR and 140% criD

He. Is so underrated like most say he is a not a plug and play Mon you have to build. A team around him I’ve done giants b10 with him using bernard lushen(L) Shannon bella and kro his 3rd skill is 50% per debuff. Even though the description is funky.
I’m not end game arena and that’s bc. Lushen and baretta are my only 6 stR but ive seen success. With kro using Megan baretta lushen and allowing baretta to,put dots on Mon….he is not a top tier I,have,to have Mon but he is,far,from,useless. And I enjoy seeing him at 5star do,20k and 30k crits I’ve runes him focus blade and am,probably going to,6,star him before bella. You must make,sure,his speed. Allows him to go right,after your rebuffed …since I use. Meagan and baretta he,goes,right after,baretta and my lushen tends to clean up,the,rest.

In reply to Scorpianous. That isn't how it works in Summoners War at all. Unless you are pushing floor 80+ on ToA, you haven't gotten to end game. Unless you have beaten the entire story on Hell mode, you haven't gotten to end game. I know plenty of lvl 40s who are just starting mid game. You have a wayyyyys to go.

You do realise that kro, with an orochi and bella can deal up to 80k dmg? He is really team dependant monster, you can’t rely on him doing the debuffs, but if you have a decent debuffer he can 1hit anything. It is hard to build him, and even harder to use him, but if you have a good team to build him into, he will be your best 1hitter.

He is of course very dependent of other monsters but just imagine a team with 3 orochis and kro lol crazy
