It’s summer of 2016
Orochi is a 3rd rate 4 star in today’s environment.
he is superb until you are able to own D10, then you have outgrown MANY mons that were “amazing” before hand.
If you 6 star him, you will be sad down the road since, as a nat 4, he cannot be fed when he is 6 star.
I used him as food, leaving him at 5 star for 9 months

heres the orochi build im using; it works REALLY well!
blade blade focus,
spd, crit r% and acc%.
Hope ya add it!

Gin works pretty well with: Violent/Energy. He can survive a little more and with extra turns (Full Atk%,) he becomes a beast.

In reply to Ben-Jammin. This 100% agreed. I don't see how the water ninja has a higher dungeon rating than Orochi. Orochi's dots tear through bosses. It is no comparison to me, Orochi is hands down better at taking down bosses than Susano.

In reply to Mike Gee. Because the DOT can still be resisted. The crit rate should essentially be viewed the same as the proc rate, then the acc/res formula, etc etc. At the end of the day, you need to increase your acc to effectively land the DOTs.

In reply to anonymoose. apparently u don't need to go a specific route for runes, as long as Crit rate % and accuracy % are as close to 100% as possible!!!

I’m confused… his third skill says… “Inflicting Continuous Damage for 1 turn if you get a CRITICAL HIT” so why would u need accuracy for the dots to land??? or maybe i just misunderstand. I went Blade/Blade/Energy, and i have way over 100% Crit since i upgraded my Blade rune slot (1) to +15 stats are Atk +160… Cri R 15%… Cri D 4% Accuracy 6% Resist 7%… i love that rune… so i will be getting rid of a Blade set… but my problem is i don’t always land the dots when i use 3rd skill… again, if it should land a (DOT) IF ITS CRITICAL HIT AND I HAVE 100% CRIT RATE, why is it not landing??

In reply to ohad. i saw a post in youtube that they using water ninja as a main Booster for fodders in faimon stage so i think its much better to keep him then if you need to fuse it to make pheonix thats the time you let go
