Skill 3: Vengeful Fire (Passive): Your Attack Speed increases as your HP gets lower, and you deal 50% more damage if the enemy has more HP than you. [Automatic Effect]
Astar is a strong single target damage dealer with the ability to stop important targets from using their big skills. She also hits very hard if runed with rage/blade. Her passive means that she will do more damage to tanks right at the start of battle.
|Cooltime skill usage prevention||Bonus damage against higher hp monsters||Very fast at low hp|
Astar is a great choice for Rage/Blade(Atk%/Crit R%/Atk%). This will allow her to deal great damage versus any high hp monster at the start of battle. The downside to this build is that she is very squishy, so you will need some immunity/revive protection to keep her safe.
For advanced arena users, Violent/Blade(Atk%/Crit D%/Atk%) is a good choice. Multiple moves means more damage. Her second skill will also be used more often, which is vital against someone like Chasun/Lushen etc.
Important substats: Spd, Atk%, Crit R%, Crit D%
Tower of Ascension Viability
Astar can be used in ToA normal as a single target nuker. However, her effectiveness drops once you meet water monsters and also in ToA hard, where monsters have way too much hp. She will not be able to survive attacks from 60+ stage monsters in ToA hard.
Giants and Dragons B10 Viability
Astar is not suitable for Giants B10.
Astar is also a great candidate for Necropolis B10, but as a damage dealer. Her first skill hits 3 times, which can come in handy at breaking the Lich King shield.
As for Dragons B10, she can be used but there are better candidates. Her ability to survive is quite low here, so Sigmarius is preferred.
Arena and Guild Wars Viability
Conclusion: Keep for PvP
Astar is a great single target nuker. Keep her for the arena and guild wars. She will be your to go monster when it is time for PvP.
