Uses
Lushen is one of the best monsters available in the game. He is a great Hydeni and Aiden Hell farmer. He can also do very well in the arena when paired with another Lushen or AoE damage dealer. The biggest thing about him is his AoE ignore defense. A well runed Lushen + AoE team can clear most arena defense in 15 seconds below Conqueror 1.
Offers
[easytable]Â , Random AoE debuff, AoE Ignore Defense[/easytable]
Rune Builds
The best build for Lushen is pure damage Rage/Blade(Atk%/Crit D%/Atk%). Your goal is to achieve at least 70% critical rate. With a critical rate buff from Sieq/Aquila and he will have 100% crit. Any bonus speed also helps.
For high end arena(Conq 2+), you can opt to go Rage/Will(Atk%/Crit D%/Atk%) if your rune substats are good enough. This also eliminate the need for Chloe to protect your team. Rune 2 other damage dealers using the will setup and bring a buff remover with shield runes and you have a great arena team that finishes arena battles quickly.
Tower of Ascension Viability
Lushen is a great monster for normal ToA for stages lower than 50. He is able to clear them very fast. At higher stages of both normal and hard, his effectiveness drops because monsters start having higher hp. There are better monsters such as Baretta/Zaiross/Hemos/Thrain that are more suitable for the higher stages.
Giants and Dragons B10 Viability
Lushen can be utilized as a damage dealer to get you to the boss faster in Giants B10. However, you do need a good support cast to be able to keep him alive. There are better monsters such as Veromos/Acasis/Akhamamir/Julien that offers a bit more utility for the same role. Unless you have good runes and stacked with 2 Lushens and a Julien, I suggest you use the traditional f2p Veromos/Bernard/Shannon/Belladeon/Darion for a more stable run.
Lushen is not viable for Dragons B10, but could be used in B8 as a damage dealer.
Arena and Guild Wars Viability
Lushen shines in the arena up to about Conqueror 2. Anything below that, he can deal tonnes of damage and finish arena battle quickly. People lucky enough to have the Chloe, Sieq, Lushen, Lushen combo can clean arena defenses below Conqueror 2Â in 15 seconds. Lushen also works very well in a speed team.
As for guild wars, it can be a little tricky. Lushen needs protection to make sure he is able to get his damage off. In guild battles, having 3 members mean you need to bring another damage dealer to do enough damage. That leaves you with limited options.
Lushen is squishy and absolutely gets destroyed by fire teams. At conqueror 2 to guardian arena, there are plenty of fire teams that makes him quite useless. But this only applies to high end game players, so newbies don’t have to worry about this.
Conclusion: Keep and 6 Star
Lushen is a solid monster and he has many uses in the game that makes him such a popular monster. Thank the lucky stars when you manage to summon this beast.]]>
