At first I was disappointed because I thought he’d be worse than all of the other nat 5*s, but now I am kind of happy with him, especially after I awakened him today. His skills can deal quite decent damage with a few stacks on his passive (especially since I am using fatal and focus with atk% on him ’cause I cant farm a good vampire set yet). The armor shred on the 2nd skill and the stun on first skill are also pretty useful for some dungeons and arena. I think he’s fairly tanky by default because he has a good base defense, so he can often tank up enough hits in arena to get 7-10 stacks. His cc immunity on 3rd skill is great for arena because skills like freeze don’t work against him. His leader skill is not so great I think, but in some situations where you need defense, it’s not too bad! I feel like he is kind of an allrounder, even when built full dmg he isn’t squishy at all. General Description He has a 25% retaliation when allies are attacked & 25% self dmg reduction passive (Stone Monkey), 75% chance to defense debuff & 50% atk bar self buff with his 2nd skill (Lightning Monkey Wand) and a 35% chance to stun on 1st skill (Monkey Wand). The individual skills don’t sound like alot, however the synergy of it is amazing. My typical attack begins with 2nd skill and immediately he is buffed to 50% atk bar, which means he attacks soon after. If the defense debuff is applied, he can hit with his first skill soon after. If it stuns, all the better. He is also useful even when its not his turn because of the 25% retaliation. He uses his first skill with it which has the potential to stun, which synergizes very nicely imo. His stats are also great. He has decent atk, hp and defense. Making him a tanky dps or support that does not die easily (remember 25% dmg reduction). Since he is hard to dps down, ignoring to dps him will have him retaliate to dps and stun your team which is a synergy as well. There are 2 main rune builds that i can see him being used with. DPS/Support or Pure Support (Stun/CC). Both builds are very viable depending on what you need for your arena. I currently have him runed fatal+blade 2/4/6 atk% and have tried him despair+focus atk%/atk%/acc%. DPS/Support Build: Rune: Fatal+Blade 2/4/6 Atk% or Violent+Revenge 2/4/6 Atk% As DPS/Support build, he can output 3-5k crits with 1st skill and 4-6k with 2nd skill on average at 5* maxed with only 1x 6* atk% rune. I imagine he will be a beast at 6* maxed with 3x 6* atk% runes. 3-5k may not seem like alot, however he has lots of utility and hits enemies on average, 1.3x or 1.4x more than other monsters. His defense debuff makes him a self functioning high dpser and i have seen him crit water monsters 8-9k with 2nd skill when defense debuff is applied. I have not tried the violent+revenge build, but i am thinking it will make him attack even more and output more dps. Pure Support (Stun/CC) Build: Rune: Despair + Focus (Atk%/Atk%/Acc%) When I used this build, the extra stun% from despair makes him a reliable stunner (1st skill 35% + 25% chance, 2nd skill 25% chance, passive retaliation 25% to do 35% + 25% chance stun). As usual his 2nd skill applies defense debuff pretty reliably too, and he does not die easily. Overall He is tanky and puts out decent single target dps and has great support (stun/debuff) skills. I would use him both in an attack team or sustain team.- Lv.2 Damage +5%
