We’ve got another summon event coming up! From 20th May to 27th May and from 27th May to 3rd June, we’ll have the chance to select one out of ten engraved summoning lists. Of course, the event will also reward us with engraved summoning pieces and scrolls, along with a lot of other valuable resources.
After all the latest summoning events, it’s still not the easiest choice for us summoners to pick the best available summoning list. It could be different for each of us, depending on our personal progress in the game.

Getting new monsters in Summoners War is one of the essential parts of the game. When it comes to engraved summons, we can save up our scrolls to chase our desired monster, when it becomes available. Because there are only a few monsters in this pool, your chances of getting what you’re after are much higher compared to the normal summons. This game mechanic is similar to other gacha games like Genshin Impact, where the chances of getting some characters are much higher with a special banner.
Keep in mind, you need 200 summons on average to get a natural 5-star monster. Even with the legendary engraved summons, which are available as rewards in the world guild battle, you need more than 15 summons on average. It’s not always the best idea to focus only on the 5-star monsters. It’s also worth considering the 4-stars ones as well. They can be really helpful for new players in PvE content, such as the Trial of Ascension, your dungeon teams or the Dimensional Hole teams. They’re also a great source to skill up the 4-star monsters you already own.
Here are the two lists of engraved summons you can choose from, along with our thoughts, to help you make the right choice for your best game progress:
